I am not person who makes a living persuading others to buy their products. Fortunately, the purses I carry sell themselves. Prior to getting into the business, I attended several parties and immediately knew that it was a business that would thrive. The women were literally fighting over purses. At one particular party I witnessed a woman following another around waiting for her to put down the purse she was carrying. As soon as she had, the lady snatched it up! It was hilarious! For customers, or party goers, the name of the game is "first come, best picks!" At these parties, there were never two purses alike. I continue this practice by carrying only similar purses, but again, no two are ever exactly the same. Out of the 175 purses I bring to a typical at-home party, this is quite a treat for the hostesses and her friends. I also carry a variety of fun accessories such as wallets, keyfinders, diaper bags, scarfs, and more. How do you get people to book a party? It is very simple! In the beginning, I had a few people out there carrying my purses and when they got compliments, they passed on my name. As with any reputable business, word of mouth advertisement is the most profitable form of advertisement! In the several years I have been doing this, I have NEVER had to call people and ask them to book a party. It is a fun and easy way to make a living! |
